Allen Robinson is coming off of his best game of the season. Posting 131 yards with a score on just six catches and that was with a sixty plus yard reception called back due to penalty. The chemistry between Robinson and his quarterback seems to be hitting its stride just in time for a rematch with a defense that allowed Mitchell Trubisky to have his best game of the season a few short weeks ago. On the other side of this match-up, the talented Slay seems to be at a stalemate with his contract negations in Detroit. All signs point to the Pro Bowl defensive back suiting up for another team next season and with the Lions currently in a four game losing streak with no real shot at the post season, can Slay stay motivated enough to slow down the resurgent Robinson?
While the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys hosting games every Thanksgiving Day has become one of the most well known traditions in the NFL, these two teams were not the first to do so. From 1922 to 1933, the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cardinals played each other every Thanksgiving...with the Bears going 7-3-2 during than span. The 1932 Thanksgiving Day game would be the last home game the Bears would ever have on the holiday as the game was moved to Detroit two years later where it has remained as a host city since.

JEFF DRISKEL vs CHICAGO BEAR SECONDARY
Driskel wasn’t great in his first two starts as a Lion, but he at least looked like a serviceable backup. On Sunday, the fourth-yet vet seemed overmatched. He was confused by the defensive looks Washington threw at him and he did the one thing the Lions couldn’t afford against an awful team...commit turnovers. Driskel threw three interceptions that overshadowed his 63-yard rushing day, including one that set up Washington’s winning field goal. Listed on an early injury report with a hamstring injury, Driskel will possibly have to rely more on his arm on a short week and is facing a secondary with far more talent than Washington lined up against him. Can Driskel spark a dreadful Detroit aerial attack or will Chicago's secondary feast on the struggling second string quarterback?
MATT PATRICIA vs MATT NAGY
For as many disappointments and struggles that have sprung up for the 2019 Chicago Bears, they still have not reached the level of disappointment Matt Patricia has now reached in Detroit. They just gave the Redskins their second win of the season with their rookie quarterback making only his third NFL start...a match-up that a defensive mined coach like Patricia should have owned. Instead the Lions made mistakes all over the field. Lost fumbles, untimely interceptions, kickoff returned for a touchdown and even a field goal sailing wide at the last moment. So now facing a short week and a national audience for the final time this season, can Patricia pull his team out of the NFC cellar against another second year head coach that has also been routinely caught mismanaging games almost as often as he?
