It was Fuller and Hopkins then a bunch of guys. Fuller only had like 425 yards but 7 TDs. Hopkins was a monster.

Mitch had Kendall Wright though and homie Inman ?
Didn't the end of Andre Johnson's career overlap with that as well? Nm, it was, but he'd moved on from Houston by then.

I think the look in his eyes is depression and a single digit IQ, but maybe I saw a different look than you
I mean who the fuck knows but there are those guys who are such good athletes they make it all the way to the pros without ever having to work as hard as everyone else or sit behind anyone for very long or accept an assignment they didn't want or play hurt.

Then they get to this level and they suddenly have coaches who are like you get paid to do what we tell you and if you don't like it you can ride the bench or be shipped out and they've literally never been told that before. Throw in some cumulative head trauma and voila.

Goes without saying that's purely speculative.

That ongoing list of injuries reminds me of Kevin White, unfortunately
The Saints cut him after camp.

Bears pick him up.

Flus sprinkles his magic HITS dust.

White goes for 1600 yards and gets a Pro Bowl berth.

Fields wins MVP.

I feel like ever since the Lamar Jackson stuff, these people really walk on eggshells when criticizing young black QBs play.

The Lance stuff is truly odd though. Last year analysts spoke like he's a couple years of development away and he went to a team that was ready to win atm. Now it feels like the timetable has sped up and he has to produce now.

But it is just TC and its early in TC. Plenty of time for him to turn it around but man, what an epic failure if Shanny cant turn him into a franchise QB. That was a haul of picks given up for him. We'll be looking at biggest bust of all time territory.
You'd think that one year of intense training would have him ready for live reps and being ahead of a Rookie like Fields was last year, even though Fields came from a better program with an extra season. Of course that means Lance probably won't be all that at the start of this year either. Will be very interesting to see what Shanny calls for him and what he is later this year and the start of next. Does Shanny protect him or push him? Pick his spots somewhere in between.

Shanny is going to lean heavy on the run game, roll-outs, option reads and play action passing. Doubtful that he will predominantly use dropbacks. Bears best chance of winning week 1 is a crappy game by Lance and they slow down their dominant run game(which is doubtful with these DT's)

Just listened to Biggs on the radio:

Summary:

On Jenkins he was asked if he thought he’d be a starter, cut/traded, or a backup. Said least likely outcome was he becomes a starter. Mentioned how Jenkins started with the 1’s in OTA’s and got demoted back then. Said biggest thing he needs to prove is he can stay on the field. (Did mention Kyle Fuller as a player in similar situation who turned it around)

Fields hasn’t made many throws down field in camp. Most of his stuff has been off play action or out of the pocket. Dropping back is where it gets off target. Certainly wasn’t gushing about him.

Kmet said this weeks practice was the hardest he’d ever been through and Biggs said it’s probably the hardest HE (Kmet) has ever been through but alluded to he himself (Biggs) having seen harder practices back in the day. A not so veiled shot at Cupcake Nagy.

Like pretty much everyone else this off-season he said nice stuff about the top two rookie picks.

Other than NH all the wide receiver injuries didn’t sound too serious. (Like should be available for the season ). Sounded a little iffy about NH making the team now because he’s have to be kept on the 53 before being sent to IR. You can’t just put him on it now and bring him back ina few months.

My thinking as well. I'd emphasize preventing the run and deep ball and let him try and beat me in the middle.

Sounds like Fields and staff are working on what he needs to work on and less worried about appearances. We all know he can throw a deep ball.

You can tell Practice was club dub with naggy. They were so damn sloppy on game day with penalties

Biggs reminiscing about those dozen doughnut grinding 2 a days?
