Too many missed opportunities for the US. Especially early on. How Jozy missed that... woof.

Focus shifts to CONCACAF Nations League now. Then WC Qualifying in 2020.

Tuned in for about 5 minutes. Very intense atmosphere. I saw Altidore get the ball about 15 feet from the net with 15 feet of open space on either side of the net and somehow missing the goal completely. He must be incredible in practice, because I have never seen him do much of anything in games. A few minutes later, Pulisic gets cleaved to the ground, and two seconds later the Mexican defender is blasting the ball into Pulisic's head.

That about summed it up, and I turned off my TV.

You missed 3-4 guys from El Tri circle the ref a few min later. But other than that you didn't miss much. Mexico controlled the midfield and Berhalter was outcoached.

Altidore missing from point blank range sums up his career. A ton of potential but a bunch of disappointment.

I've always wondered what people/coaches see in Altidore. The guy is useless.

Bradley is so washed up. They need to move on from him ASAP. He has no pace.

On one chance by El Tri that didn't score Bradley watched a Mexican player run right across his face towards goal and just turned and jogged after him.

Pulisic, Arriola, and McKennie all played really well. US physically dominated the first half but seemed to run out of gas (Altidore) and had the game forced towards them (Bradley) and slowly folded. would have liked to see Boyd get some run.

7-0 win over Cuba. It's Cuba, but I'll take it at this point.

thats terrible. This U.S. team has fallen far...they are more like 80th in the world. They would have a hard time qualifying for the world cup in any region except probably the one Australia and New Zealand come out of. They would have a chance to beat New Zealand and get into the Asiatic play-in game.

Canada is probably going to beat us again Friday. They are 69th but I expect a tight contest to show us about where we actually rank. 60-80 while Canada might be a 50-60 and ascending.
