Yasmani freaking no doubter walk off Friday.

This team has some magic to them. Might actually be buyers...might I suggest dealing bitch ass Kopech for a now arm? Maybe to Houston so he can go get mental help from Greinke, make it a 3 team trade if necessary.

Too late for Kopech to change his mind?
Seems like Hahn is thinking we need one more arm for our rotation this year to make a push. I don't know who he's offering up, but for the right guy I wouldn't mind moving Kopech. Giolito, Kopech, Cease + another legit starter this year would round out this roster very nicely.

Re: yesterday's game, I wish Dunning could have gotten that W after pitching 5 no-hit. I understand pulling him after 5 and being on a pitch count; not upset about that, I just wish our bullpen could've held on to the W for him.

That’s the kind of win that builds the confidence of a young team. They made errors, missed numerous opportunities and were mired in a 4-0 hole and still rebounded and won going away.

This seemed like the classic meltdown against the Twins late in the season, but I just have to remember this in not the White Sox of the majority of the last 20 years. So much talent, and now learning to win games where they don't play their best.

They are doing it, crazy with the short schedule...3.5 game lead is nothing, they are gonna have to play well another 3 weeks. Just get in the tourney and have fun! Great experience already being gained by being in a pennant race. Its all positive for us, I'm really grateful they bought Grandal/Keuchel/Abreu and sad about the financial hit, hopefully fans show them it meant something starting next April.

Cease did his job again and its up the bullpen. I really wish Kopech didn't betray the team. There is nowhere safer than getting a free test everyday for yourself and everyone around you. Still probably smart they didn't mortgage the future for another arm. It will be up to Giolito/Keuchel to see if they can get us past the early rounds anyway. Small chance that 4th arm comes into play so no sense in overpaying for it.

Clevinger or Lynn would have been my targets...if they were reluctant to part with Kopech I understand, but we are probably lucky if he is as good as Clevinger in the end, that situation would have been nice to exploit but I'm sure they weren't interested in cutting a rival anything like a discount either.

Nice win last night. It kind of evens the slate a bit on that late inning meltdown in Pittsburgh.

Mize was dealing. He looks like the real thing.

Sox take down Detroit by two touchdowns and Abreu and Anderson are now both in serious contention for the AL MVP.

That game yesterday was amazing. Abreu looks like a kid again and has become a great hitter. Having guys hitting in front of him and behind him allows him to look for pitches to drive and not be forced to swing at pitches out of the zone because he knew that if he didn't drive the runners in they probably wouldn't score.

I love Eloy also. He really is a complete hitter also and I predict will be a MVP candidate himself before very long. He knows the strike zone and will take a walk if he doesn't get good pitches to hit. This is something that Robert needs to figure out.

Oh great, you're back.

Why is Dipshit Rick taking Stiever out, especially for Gas Can Cordero?

And Jiminez is creeping in there.

With all the hype Robert has gotten, Jiminez took another step and is still ahead of him.
