Painful game to watch against the Tigers. Main takeaways:
- team looked listless Against a bad Tigers team. Tigers had 5 errors and still Sox could only score 2 runs.
- hit into 4 double plays. Not a single hit and run tried.
- Grandal and Leury continue to be offensive duds.
- no outfield depth without Eloy and Robert.
- Foster continues to be terrible with an ERA over 12.
- Giolito may have been left in one batter too many.

Hope they do better tomorrow.

Giolito was left in way more than one batter too many. After the game Larussa said he thought he Lucas could get the third out, when there was only one out. Larussa didn't even know how many outs there were, Lucas was obviously gassed. Literally the fucking manager didn't know how many outs there were.

Very weird game, Detroit literally tried to hand the game to the Sox, anytime an opponent has 5 errors they usually lose. And even a bigger oddity, Anderson walking twice and Madrigal striking out in the same game.

Obviously you don’t know Tony’s napping schedule. He typically takes a power nap starting in the 6th inning. It was shameful how LaRussa hung Lucas out to dry. At the very least Bummer should have faced Goodrum.
