Well, we know how he feels about the idea...

This guy have a track record?
Yes, he’s had all the scoops on trades this week and has had good information for quite a while. I just found him this week though. Definitely legit.

Cool. I'll follow him myself then. I also think Pace is safe - much as I hate the idea...

First it's from a Kaplan source who also wasn't convinced Ted would retire but said he wouldn't be shocked if he did and it doesn't say anything about Pace taking over for him.

Hey man, don't shoot the messenger. You wanted to know how it kicked up again. This was where it started up.

This is the easy way out for ownership. Fire Nagy. Pace hires a GM who hires next the HC. Ownership doesn’t have to be heavily involved. They like Pace. If it gets Teddy out of Football decisions (works on new stadium and finances) and replaces Nagy I’m ok with it. Don’t trust ownership to hire another GM.

with the nfl trade deadline over, this makes me think pace is also on the hot seat just like nagy. If the theory that pace were to be moved to president of football operations or some other title he would have moved assets like robinson, hicks and whoever else he could get a pick for without suffering major cap ramifications to add to the 2022 draft.

McCaskey Transition plan-

1) Fire Pace and Nagy.
2) Recruit Peyton Manning from that great connection he had with Virginia from the Peyton’s Places episode and hand over a blank org chart of football operations and check.
3) Sit back, relax, and collect distributions with universal praise.
