Probably the first of many elite QBs over the next year or two.

You have to think Brees is going to go as well, and Roethlisberger and Brady soon too.

It's really the end of an era. Rivers, Brees, Big Ben have to be done. I could see Brady retiring if he won the SB too.

We've been living through the absolute best period of quarterback play in the history of the NFL, and I don't think it'll ever be as deep of a group as it has been.

Our modern day Dan Marino. Never really liked him as a person

Man, I’m really gonna miss the broadcast switching over to afternoon Chargers games in the last 2 minutes, as Rivers fails to bring his team back while down a score with no timeouts.

“60 Minutes is coming up next.”

And OFC Rodgers will be the last one standing for a few more years at minimum.

Liked this but every ERA has it's stars. These covered a similar period in time.
Elway
Marino
Montana
Fouts
Kosar
Bradshaw
Kelly

and were filled in by Moon, Cunningham and Farve while some of those dropped out. Moon was literally black balled until nearly out of his prime or would also have been on that list.

It's quite the debate, but I'm also taking into account (for better, or worse) changes in style of play, officiating, and coaching.
