I didn't think of it as a great hire, but now they have some chances to do something. no clue who their OC(playcaller) is and I guess it wasn't Whisenhunt if they're fine firing him at this point.

Mike Malarkey who was good with Cordell Stewart back in Pitt if I recall correctly.

I think the Titans made the wrong decision. Sure Whisenhunt was only 3-20 but that Titans team has next to no talent. He's a good coach and he should havet gotten another year or two to sort things out.

The Titans will be much worse with Mularkey at the helm.

If a HC is on that short of a leash they should not be given the chance to possibly screw up developing the 2nd overall pick.

If Gase is leaving, then this Whisenhunt can be the new OC for the Bears. Made Warner and Rivers look great. He is very good OC, just a crappy HC.
