Name a better duo I'll wait....
Wow....That Mack spot was dead on. Refs has to be fucking blind or in the Packers pocket not to call holding. They really can't be that blind. And I thought they were supposed to crack down on that type of blocking this year.

Phony hands to the face repeatedly against the lions may have destroyed their season. They were never the same after that game.

I wonder how creative the refs will be in the 9ers game. I'm sure Bosa will be hit with at least one fake roughing call.

It's really sad when fans just accept that the refs are almost completely useless.

I'm sick of the complaining about the refs helping the Packers. Is this where we're at as Bears fans? What a pathetic bunch. If you want to take the refs out of the equation then go and blow them out...just like SF did this year, and will do again today.

So in order to beat the Packers, you have to blow them out every time? As in you can’t win a close game against them? And this is OK with you? I mean I agree I’d love to see the Bears blow them out every time they play, but with 12 back there, that’s a tall order. I think as fans all we want is a fairly called game, and any game the Packers play in is anything but fairly called.

Lets not pretend like Aaron Rodgers and the Packers have never seen a 4 man rush before.

I think their years and years against the Bears prepared them well for this moment.

Agreed. Complaining about the refs in Packers games when the Bears aren't even playing....just comes off as whiney.

If you have it in your mind that there's a bias, of course you'll see it. You'll always see holding not getting called if you wanna see it.

Yeah...but those graphs at the beginning don't surprise me. The second one shows Rodgers exceptional use of the hard count, but I've seen games where it just feels like the Packers play in a different league with different rules. Some of the new rules were designed to limit the way the Packers blocked which began to trend around the league, part of it was good scouting of officials, they studied what they could get away with and did it as much as they could.

I felt during the cold game last week the Packers paid a heavy price, bodies dropping everywhere. I don't know that they have enough in the tank but they will be glad to go on the road to Santa Clara.

The other issue is, they have had a franchise QB, MVP type guy for 20 years, so they get maximum protection calls. If we ever drafted a Brady or Rodgers we would get the tight QB calls too, similar to the "Jordan rules" this city benifited from. The NFL protects their assets and we have never had an asset at the glamour/ratings position.

So in trying to be fair minded, I conclude its probably not a full conspiracy but goddamn if its not more than just bears fans who have noticed.
