Packers should have already picked up Love’s 5th year option if he is Mahomes 2.0, no?Doesn’t look like they much confidence in Jordan and don’t want to be stuck with a 20 million dollar paper weight on the books next year.

Having said that the right move is to decline the option. The odds are stacked heavily against Love to have a season that will warrant a 20 million dollar cap hit. Inexperienced WR and TE rooms, and two RBs that couldn’t do much with the same situation and a HoF QB under center. Even Rodgers didn’t become the part until his 3rd full year of starting. He also had far better weapons to work with early in his career.

We save money by NOT taking his option.

His 5th year option is 22 million, if we extend him long term, his cost will be much lower then that next season.

GB has the best RB tandem in the league, tf are you talking about? Look at Aaron Jones and AJ Dillons numbers lol. Your literally just claiming nonsense based on nothing. Per usual for Bears fans who just hate how good the Packers typically are.

Rodgers was great from his first year starting. 28 TDs to 13 INTs and a 90 something passer rating. 33 TDs to 9 INTs the year after. Once again, you are literally just claiming nonsense based on nothing lol.

Rodgers has more experienced weapons sure, but not nearly the upside. Watson, Reed, Doubs, Musgrave, Kraft etc. The Packers never has speed or athleticism like that for Rodgers.

Love also has a way better O line (Rodgers O line was atrocious), and Love also has way better RBs by far. Jones and Dillon are both better then Ryan Grant.

@Loveitout

Not sure if you should be touting love just yet

Okay? Who cares? I've seen every snap of his career so far, the guy is ready.

He has been making all the highest difficulty throws since the 22' preseason. That back shoulder throw that was Rodgers staple? You'll be seeing plenty more of that in the days to come

Kinda creepy that you've following him ever since he was K-12

You can claim what you want but it amounted to missing the playoffs because you lost to the lowly Lions at Lambeau. Reality smacks you in the face. Teams with HoF QB, the best RB tandem in the league, the best LT, the best CB, and the best DT don’t do that.

You will save money by not picking up Love’s option but not because he’ll sign an extension but because you are going to move on and draft a QB in the first round.

That was last season, what about the prior three seasons to that?

We disappointed last year because our QB had a broken thumb and no pass rushers but Preston Smith for most the year, even then we were only one game from the playoffs. Missing the playoffs one year doesn't change statistical fact lol.

Nope, we will extend Love in season likely, or shortly thereafter. It will be a hefty contract due to him being a HOFer, but it won't be 22 mil for next season like the option would be.

Can we ban Loveitout?

He placed a ban bet with me last year and just ignored it because the packers sucked.

If the law of averages were legitimately involved in the NFL, then the Bears QB wouldn't be shitty af at passing lol.

Love is a HOFer, enjoy.
“Love is a HOFer.” You can’t really believe this ridiculous crock of shit. He was average at Utah St. and threw a ton of picks.

Not sure how that translates to decent NFL starter, let alone a HOF career…

You defied the odds and had 31 straight years with a HOF QB at the helm. The Pack only converted that into two Super Bowl wins. That’s bad.

If you look at San Francisco with Montana and Young, they won five championships in a much shorter period and haven’t had anything close to a HOF QB since.

Reality is going to be harsh.

One that the bears gifted them too.

Love was never a good prospect. He was a direct overhype of Mahommes having an MVP year and being a unicorn. Guy was a 2nd-3rd round talent who should have been an early 2nd if the packers didn't decide to be idiots.

Guy had a 20/17 TD/INT ratio his final year of college. Legit got worse every year he played. Makes sense to think he could be a star NFL QB.

Love had better college stats than Josh Allen, at a worse school in the same conference, your saying Allen isn't an NFL starter? He looks like an HOFer.

Love threw a ton of picks his junior season after losing his whole starting offense, system, and coaching staff. He only threw 6 INTs in his sophomore season. Reverse those seasons and Love would have been a top 5 overall pick.

Being the best non cheating franchise in football since 95' is not bad. It's great actually, it doesn't matter how you accomplished it, all that matters are the results.

The 80's Niners were one of the greatest teams of all time, but how are they relevant to this conversation?

Yes, reality is going to be harsh when you realize the Packers drafted the guy being touted as a rawer, more unpolished Mahomes, and you see him (Love) be a HOFer.

Im not sure comparing someone to two giant outliers is an argument you can win.

Lets bring up all the bad college QB's who became bad pro qb's. That would make more sense for love, right? Not comparing him to the only guy in modern history that went from dogshit accuracy to elite level.

Nearly everyone had Love projected to the late 1st lol. Almost no one thought of Love as any other then a 1st round pick, in a great QB draft too I might add.

If you reverse Love's sophomore and junior seasons, he would have been a top 5 overall pick. He has the physical arm talent of Mahomes. Scared? You should be. You will be.

Love's junior season was what it was because he lost his whole starting o, system, and coaching staff. He was trying to make up for his atrocious team and play hero ball constantly. His sophomore season is the better, actual reflection of him as a player.

I'm glad Love had his junior season, elsewise he is a top 5 overall pick and GB has no chance at him. Guys with the physical ability of Mahomes almost never make it past the first half of the 1st round.

I remember that draft well.

And no, he was never a top 5 pick. He played in a small school and was terrible his final year. He was always a massive project.

Th only reason he got picked in the 1st rather than the 3rd was because of mahomes having a stellar season. Without that the bum woulda been a 3rd round pick.

It happens every year, Anthony Richardson should be praising god that Justin Fields got him that bag.

Love wasn't a bad college QB lol. He was fairly good college QB, with one great season and one mediocre season. If you reverse his sophomore and junior seasons he is a top 5 overall pick.

I thank God for 2019 Utah State firing their whole coaching staff, getting a new offensive system, and retaining only one starter on o. It's why GB got an arm talent on par with Mahomes. That never would have happened otherwise.

Keep telling yourself that he wasn't a bad college qb. Whatever helps you sleep at night. Doesnt change the fact that he was in fact not a good college qb.

Back to the topic at hand. I think you should be banned since Jordan Love sucks and fields set multiple records last year, no?

Wrong. If you reverse his sophomore and junior seasons he would have been a top 5 overall pick. He was being touted a top 5 overall pick going into his junior year. You denying facts doesn't make it not fact lol. Even after his junior season, there were still pundits projecting him to go ahead of Herbert.

Wrong, and that doesn't make sense lol. There are plenty of elite arm talents who never become highly touted simply due to an elite arm talent having a good year in the NFL. Just nonsense excuses from a bears fan in denial.

Lol? How did Justin Fields playing terrible helo increase Richardson's draft stock? That makes no sense. If anything, teams look at Fields as the worst possible outcome for Richardson. No one likes QBs who suck at passing bruh.

He statistically wasn't lol. He had one mediocre year, but his overall college numbers are good. Statistics don't lie. His sophomore year was great.

Jordan Love showed more as a passer in two drives against the Eagles top rated d then Fields has shown in his whole career lol.

Breaking rushing records isn't impressive when your atrocious at passing. More INTs then TDs, never threw for 300 yards. Etc. Fields is a bad passer and bad player. He will he Lamar's shitty back up within a few seasons.

Want to set a ban bet on Love vs Fields? Or are you scared?
