Good but I hate how the athletic worded it. Why it couldn't word it Pagano retired after previous DC got HC gig. Th is makes the Bears more competent than what it said.

Realistically, Eddie Jackson and Quinn are two of the worst contracts in the NFL right now.

No idea how the hell we are going to improve this defense with that garbage on it next season.

I'm not wrong.

The defense is bad, pagano isn't doing them any favors, but there is plenty of blame to go around. Pagano is just the scapegoat.

The previous DC also had a ton more talent on defense, so that helps, a bit.

Fangio is obviously better, but the decline of this defensive unit is starting.

Could have promoted Staley. Could have made an attempt to keep Donatell, but instead they pulled that chucklefuck out of retirement. He was far from the only problem on the team, but he was definitely a problem.

Agreed.

Pagano is an issue, but he isn't the one who gave quinn a giant deal and re-signed eddie jackson/danny T who are both bums.

He's also not the guy responsible for an offensive scheme that is clueless and flip flopping week to week.

It's a nice start, but it won't change anything. This is no different than the firings that occured last year in the offseason.

Thats cool, Eddie Jackson and quinn are god awful. Danny T is old and unathletic, We have 2 corners and no SS.

Hicks is only getting older.

You can blame the scheme all you want, but the players did not come to play this season.

I have no faith they will next season either.

WE all know this defensive unit would start a decline soon, seems like it's happening now. Funny thing is the majority of fans knew we had a window and instead of blaming players decide to just blame the DC.
