Lol, you padded stats and equated it to going down swinging. Some things never change
Lions had a chance to tie the game in the final minutes. Not sure how that equates to "stat padding" but, i guess if it fits your narrative, run with it, no matter how foolish it makes you look. Meanwhile your Offensive genius was still dinking and dunking down 20 points.

er'sWasn't this guy labeled the #1 "can't miss" prospect heading into the draft...AND Lions front office were giddy as f**** in the war room on draft night. Of course...
watched a good part of their game. their OL includig Sewell looked pretty good and they did put up 30+sgainst a good 49er's team but their defense looks worse than ours

I know its only pre-season but YIKES! Imagine passing up da gawd Justin Fields for this gigantic sack of turds.
Just to show what a clueless fuck you are:

All things considered, Penei Sewell’s NFL debut went much better than expected.

After a rocky preseason at right tackle, some were questioning whether the Lions seventh overall pick in the 2021 draft was going to hit the ground running at the next level. Things only got more complicated when in the middle of Week 1 Detroit Lions’ starting left tackle Taylor Decker injured his finger. That left a massive hole on the Lions’ offensive line with 49ers star defensive end Nick Bosa ready to jump on the opportunity. The Lions challenged Sewell to move back to left tackle, his college position, just a few days before Sunday’s game.

He responded the exact kind of way you’d hope a top-10 pick would. Lions quarterback Jared Goff had to drop back 60 times in Sunday’s shootout, and PFF credit Sewell with... zero allowed sacks. On the stat sheet, Bosa had one sack and just two quarterback hits. PFF graded Sewell out as a top-10 offensive tackle in Week 1 (MNF permitting) with a solid 75.6 overall grade, even after allowing six pressures.

Thanks for the breakdown from "Pride of Detroit".

A solid performance vs a guy coming off a season ending injury. Way to go! We found the Lions version of Erik Scambert.

Dumbfuck Detroit loser.

Sewell playing decent at LT doesn't change the fact he sucked balls at RT. If anything this proves the stupidity in drafting a LT to play RT. The true test will come in how he looks at RT when Decker returns.

Also, he was not amazing. He gave up 2 hits and 4 hurries. 6 pressures over 16 games would be 96 pressures. The high in pressures last year was 58. Charles Leno for example gave up 7 QB hits last year so Sewell has already achieved 28% of that total in one game.
