How many of you saw Peppers split as a wide receiver in the Pack-Saints game? They were in the red zone and Rodgers threw a perfect pass and Peppers just plain dropped it. Why would the Packer's run such a play other than they wanted to practice it in a game situation so that Peppers can score against the Bears. I can see it now-Peppers split wide with McClellin covering him, Rodgers throws the ball and McClellin is playing off and lets him score an uncontested touchdown. The ultimate humiliation.

cause McCarthy always tries trick plays. He still tries his surprise onside that never works.

Yes, I'm sure they are doing it for the Bears.

The Packers have a two guys the Bears can't cover (Nelson and Cobb). The Packers just lost a game. The Packers need to keep pace with the Lions.

I'm sure they are practicing plays throwing the ball to a guy who can't catch so they can use it against a team who they beat by about 4,000 points a few weeks ago.

Do people think before they type?

I just hope he doesn't use BJ Raji as a RB at the goal line!

His trick plays always seem to work on the Bears. Except the lateral on the PR

That's the point-if the Packers get ahead of us like last time, I can see them doing this just to get Peppers the touchdown. My real point here is that Shea will not be able to cover him and that's a sad deal.

Are you drunk?

Why would they do this to get Peppers the td? First of all, Peppers was a free agent. He left amicably. He was paid very handsomely as a Bear and treated well by the staff, his teammates and the fans while he was here (too well if you ask me as he basically did nothing his final two years here).

Are you suggesting this is some sort of middle finger job that Peppers would give to the Bears? Um, you do realize the game will be played in Green Bay, right?

Coaches coach NFL teams. They want to win games. GB is in a spirited heat with DET for the Division. I'd doubt a guy who has coached a team for 9 years and has a banged up QB is going to resort to trickeration to catch the Bears defense off guard. A defense that Rodgers destroyed straight away a few weeks ago.

I wouldn't discount peppers lining up... Only to have everyone on the bears d bite on it for an easy td to Nelson.
I bet peppers lines up at least once or twice, and I also bet that he won't even get a look from Rodgers... A decoy plain and simple.

The Packers don't need trick plays vs Chicago. They can beat on Tucker's shitty defense all day by calling their normal offense.

McCarthy is the Keeper of Packer Tradition and History. He knows it's his job to pay back the Bears for trotting out the Fridge and humiliating the Packers that day.

Two days. He caught a TD pass against the Packers as well.

There's quite a few on here who obviously don't.
