Hey Boys, heading to Chicago this weekend for the game. I’m looking for the best chicago pizza after the game. I’m staying at the Hampton on Cermack but don’t mind taking an Uber to where I need to go!

let’s hear those pizza places!!!

I’m not picky, but my wife prefers thin crust. I love both.

Vito and Nicks although that would be a long uber ride from where you're at.

The man clearly wants Deep Dish.

Pequod's or Burt's are supposed to be top notch independent Chicago pizza places.

If you wanna go more standard-ish franchise, Giordano's makes the big thick gooey pie you imagine as Chicago Deep dish, and a little nugget is try it with just bacon as a topping.

Idk why but Giordano's is the only place I like bacon on my pizza and it is uniquely good.

Pequod's or Burt's will get you a little more unique of an experience than Giordano's or Lou's but for that deep dish itch you're looking to scratch any of those will do

If you're not picky and aren't looking for authentic Chicago Deep dish or tavern style, last time I was there I went to Parlor Pizza Bar. They have a few locations, I think one in West Loop and one River north.

Lou Malnati's large Chicago classic will serve your deep dish needs.

I wasn't a fan of the deep dish a Pequods, but their thin crust looked fargin amazing.

I know some of you look at Giordano's and think "Good Lord no one needs that much cheese."

However, I've discovered my local pizza place, finally..... one of those places I've driven by hundreds of times and never considered.

And I ordered a pan pizza from them, which was very good, but I shit you not when I cut the first piece, enough melted cheese flowed into the empty space to fully replace the piece and then began to destroy Pompeii.

I looked at it all and said aloud "Whatta ya do with it all?"

Some places really need to dial it back lol.

I like deep dish, but I LOVE tavern. That's one thing I absolutely can't find around here and I miss it so much.

Deep dish is absolute trash. No one wants a shitty disgusting pizza casserole.

I wouldn't go as far as absolute trash, but I'd pick tavern style 10 out of 10 times personally. I enjoy deep dish too, but not nearly as much.

Deep dish might be like a once of year type deal for me. Much prefer the tavern style or thin crust

end of the day, it's all pizza and it's all good
