After that stupid shit show of offensive play calling, prior to Eagles TD drive...this bum kicked the ball 30 something yards. Giving them good field possession...

Tired of him

Pretty sure he is a FA this offseason. Don’t think he is back

That was a shitty punt. He had a few bad ones today. He also had a great punt to pin PHI today as well.

That said, I thought he was pretty good this year.

Exactly. Your bound to kick some bad ones here and there. He tried his best on all kicks. Other people here act like they don’t fuck up at work. No matter how much you get paid, you still make mistakes.

Stats say he was solid this season but I'm really not sold on him. He has way too many weak kicks for a guy nicknamed Megapunt

He was alright this year, but I definitely feel like we could upgrade if the scouting department gets busy.

Dude is inconsistent period. He seems to fuck up punts when it matters most

Ranked #20

That was from his 40 time and vertical.

I've been saying this for 3 years. He's a bad punter. The Bears actually need to revamp their entire special teams unit going into next year. They need a new punter, a new kicker, and a new return specialist. Watching guys like Mizell and Bellamy return kicks to the 15-18 yard line and never once make a guy miss in the open field was frustrating as hell to watch. I'm also not sold on Cohen either, because of his obsession with running directly towards the sidelines, and in some cases, backwards.

I don't know what the draft has, as far as returners go, but it would be nice to be able to solidify the special teams as a weapon again, the way they were able to with Lovie Smith as HC.

Yeah, he should buy Parkway a fruit basket. No one is focusing on how terrible of a game he had. That last punt was absolutely brutal.

There's a lot of reasons the Bears lost this game, but Pat O'donnell certainly isn't one of them.

Didn't say he was the reason...just tired of seeing his ass back there. Also that last punt was pathetic..and was one of the many reasons. Nagy and Parkey are most responsible

He is a free agent and will be expecting a raise. Probably to something around $2m a year.

For a team that is going to be trying to save every cent it can he is an easily expendable asset. Mitch Wishnowsky could probably be had as a UDFA.

Yeah the Bears always seem to have a weak leg punter. Would be nice to see someone who can kick it 60 or 70 yards.

If the Bears are gonna burn a couple mil on a punter he better be one of the best in the NFL. Marquette King isn't.

Ha you're looking at his 2018 numbers when he was injured and then released. He was a top 5 punter in the league in 16 and 17. We don't have the draft picks to get the best kicker and punter in the draft. Too many needs on offense and defense to address. So it's going to be a question mark whoever we get if we go the rookie route. Odds are the kicker and punter won't both pan out. Maybe one of them will be good.
