This team is built on 1 year contracts. Next season this will be whole new team again.

No long term big contracts. Just 1 year prove it deals. Whats the problem here?

Simply patchwork. Get through an ugly season....then make your move when you have some high picks and hopefully some cap space in 2023. If Poles does his job right, they should show some improvement in 2023 and might be ready to grab a playoff spot in 2024.

But in 2022.....this should be one fucked up NFL team.

just pretend it's 2015 again. and hope Poles doesn't go full Special person like 2018. what the fuck were people's expectations in 2015? oh right.

Bears managed a win over the Packers that year. who knew?

Have to find 90 guys for camp.
Pettis looked promising coming into the league. Why not give him a shot on a team that has a need at his position?

Lots of guys here on 1 year deals eager to prove themselves. It'll be nice seeing a team that at least tries hard.

If Dante Pettis, 4.32-4.49 .........can help us, what difference does it make how many games he played last year?

He sort of has to play to help "us"

They've had 90 guys for a little bit now. But if your larger point is that they're going to be hosting a lot of shitty guys anyway who have almost no shot to make the team or to make a difference, you're right.

If I were to go all "silver lining" on the current group of receivers, the Bears are going to get a good look to see if Darnell Mooney is gonna be worth extending next year when money is there.

Every opposing secondary's mantra will be:

LOCK

DOWN

MOONEY

Hopefully some cap space? have you been paying attention to the current cap sapce for 2023?

No, if he does this right we will be competing for a playoff spot in 2023

Someone is bored and needs attention. It's male nurse shift change time at the Elgin Methodist Assisted Living Facility, so he has to wait another hour or so for his sponge bath. They used to do it earlier in the day, but after the "patient cataclysmicly shit himself after eating mashed peas at 4pm dinner" incident, now they wait a few hrs until everything passes.
