Spill all your thoughts here.

Glennon: Trash but he deserves another go at it. So let's wait before we crucify him.

Defense: The defense looked pretty good today (the starters), the pass rush was promising. The run could've been better but wasn't bad. Need to see more on them of course.

Tarik Cohen: Cohen was great today, people are still jacking it to Trubisky (understandably) but Cohen was nice as well. He showed some great burst and acceleration, and that'll lead to plays being made. Excited to see more of him.

Jackson: He didn't get to show much on D but he made one nice play in coverage, so that's a promising start.

Adam Shaheen: I wish that Shaheen got more targets, he had the one drop and the one catch, but other than that we didn't get to see a whole lot of him in the passing game. We'll see more of him in the weeks to come for sure.

Trubisky: Accurate, athletic, relaxed, and technically sound = Trubisky tonight. In my opinion he was better than Watson who was very good. He was certainly more accurate than Watson and had a much better delivery. Just as athletic too.

Sanchez: At least he didn't butt fumble.

This team isn't quite the dumpster fire I thought it was coming into the game.

I was very impressed by Cohen too. The Knock's been that he's small and hasn't really been hit. He showed some inside running and had some gains that were over 10 yards. I like what I see. I don't know why we didn't get to see more Shaheen. I'm thinking it's because they want to see the other TE's more and consider him a lock.

True-biscuit!!!!!! Yeah. He's the one and only true biscuit. Yup. I wanted the Bears to draft him. I was excited when they did. I've been arguing with friends at work about how good he's going to be and how the Bears weren't robbed. Now, they have a potential QB of the future. I'm very excited about him.

Well how about a few preseason games coach?

Shaheen dropped at least two passes tonight. He was out pretty early with the staters. Think it was just nerves.

Really liked what I saw from Cohen. Can't wait to see more.

Going to be some hard choices with RBs with the way Cunningham played. Cary did well on STs.

Wanted to see more of Tanner Gentry.

My thoughts:

Glennon - He is who we thought he was. Wasn't good in Tampa and won't be here.

Floyd - Opened up with a sack and brought some heat after. Can't wait to see him this year.

Offense in general - Dead until 10 came in.

Defense in general - Put in bad spots early yet played well. Would be nice to have McPhee out there.

Trubisky - Couldn't ask for more in a debut. Can't wait to watch him play again.

Cohen - Should be fun to watch.

Overall - This was the Trubisky show and he delivered. He was composed from the start and at one point had more scoring drives than incompletions. The future looks bright.

For years guys like Rory Sparrow and FirstTimer have been talking about getting a guy like Glennon in at QB for the Bears.

We got to see what a guy like that does for the franchise tonight.

1st, I was impressed with Trubisky tonight!! BUT, in fairness to Watson, he did attempt more longer passes than Tru!! IMHO, i was impressed with both!!

It really seemed like Fox was more open to it now if this trend continues. Basically it looks bad for the organization if he suddenly were to change course after 1 preseason game. But if Glennon keeps playing like shit and Trubs keeps lighting it up, I don't see Glennon starting. The fans will rip Fox apart and the rest of the team knows who's better also and will have more energy for Mitch. The goal should be to win games, not coddle Glennon. I can see Glennon maybe starting 2 games to begin the year and if he sucks it up, then it's Trubs time. I was all about sitting Trubs for the year but Glennon looked like total shit this game and Trubs talent is already obvious despite his rawness. Of course he has to keep it going through the next 3 games.

Glennon was a statue who couldn't even lead his WR's when standing still. Being mobile with good pocket awareness is HUGE to be able to gain a few extra seconds for WR's to gain separation. Or scramble for important 1st downs to keep drives going and keep the D rested. Just look at Rodgers, buying time and then accurately throwing on the move with zip on the ball is a big part of his game and gains him a huge advantage. I think Mitch definitely has that quality.

I've been saying this all along. The COMPLETE QB.....can make plays in or outta the pocket

The most obvious thing that impressed me about Trubisky was his accuracy, especially on the run. That is not something that is dependent on talent level on the defense. It's not like guys were wide open and had to slow down or stop to catch the ball which is exactly what happened on the one "good" play Glennon had.

Maybe he's on his way to having a " Dak Prescott-type season"

And everyone of those over 20 yards were incomplete or way overthrown/underthrown.

Sometimes its better to check down than chuck it up.

I do however like watson, and hope he becomes decent. But obviously hope trubisky becomes a lightyears ahead of him.
