The first of two top prospect games to be held against the Wild tonight on the Wild YouTube channel.

I forget now but 7 pm? Flipper. Yes, correct. Anyway...chance to see Allan I think before he goes back to juniors.

My current take on the Blackhawks draft choices is they reached early and often. I'm gonna try to move past it, because I think they acquired some high floor players that will contribute for a decade and the main point was to get the guys you liked most and still get The Dach 2.0. They abandoned Stan's mission to find mini-mes and went for beef and I cant complain about that.

If you begin with the premise we had an itch to reach for Dach...my guess is they fell in love with the guy they were looking to draft in round 2, but were afraid Dach would get swooped by the third.

They moved around and smoothed some value into it. If Dach 2.0 pans out and they got a 2nd pairing defenseman...well that would make a big win of this or any draft without getting into all the late sleeper potential.

Dach wasn’t a reach in the second.

He’s got the tools and the toughness, the jury is still out if he has the toolbox.

I dont have the data to watch it, so maybe some excited and thankful chap a couple beers deep checks this out and recommends some key plays that highlight a prospect or two.

So far…

love the size of this team.

Dach younger has a hammer of a shot and isn’t afraid to use it

Teply is good

a lot of falling on both teams

the 6’8 kid is a monster

all this meat tho, I like watching these kids not getting pushed around

Vlasic and Dach 2.0 making it would certainly help our profile.
I always forget about Teply.

Reichel was by far the best player on the ice from both teams.

The kid is going to be a star. Dach whiffed on a lot of passes from the kid.

Anybody who thinks Reichel isn’t making the team is stuuping themselves right now.

That is fucking the best possible news from the game.

Reichel/Hag-Taser-Kubalik
Cat-Strome/CyBorg-Kaner
Big Johnson-Dach-Hag/NoLand
Barrett/HardMan/Connolly-Carp/Gaudette-Kampf/Teply/Jones

Dach with Big Johnson really makes a lot of sense, and he can jump in a lot of top 6 shifts to get full value of his skills. You put Hagel over there probably and you got a versatile line that can morph into a lot of different trouble and you get full value of Hags speed and forecheck and Dachs puck carrying entries.
I think all 3 of those lines can function…but Kane has to be great every night to carry the jerk bro’s.
Now if CyBorg ran with opportunity and you get a defender for Strome plus picks…

that’s the ticket.
