Bad game for Shark. And our atrocious offense..... We had like 8 doubles and 3 runs..

I believe someone on this board said it the other day -- but given E-Jax's consistency throughout his career, you'd have to assume his numbers will level out by the end of the year. Yesterday was a good first step towards that, he pitched well. Would still like to see him routinely get into the 7th inning, but I'm not sure that's every really been part of his game.

180+ IP suggests that he can get into the 7th and beyond every now and then. Wouldn't worry about him eating innings.

win stats not all that important but get a starter that can go 7 ip and allow 3 runs or less consistently and youll get a 15+ winner every year at the top of your rotation..
problem is, your not going to find many of those these days..

now GMs and managers are happy with guys who could go 6IP and basically just try to keep your team in the game..

I think we are going to get no-hit, if not perfected.... Where's Adrian Cardenas when you need him?
