I think what you're asking is why didn't he do it sooner...right? Ones eyes have to reach a certain maturity point. I read where they don't want ya do this type of surgery until one is in their mid-20's.

Well he did pretty well in college enough to be the #1 overall pick in the draft. Did anybody check his vision? Shame on those people
