When I told you about how I qualified for the state of Illinois energy program. The state put 2 furnaces, 2 Air conditioners and a bunch of insulation into OmeletEstates, over $15,000 total. Since all my money is tied into Soc sec, pensions and 401K income, I dont exceed the income threshold for a "needy senior". We all agree that is great news

So this winter I have been tracking my gas bill and the good news is that I have cut my bill in half and now under $100 per month for my 5000 sqft house

I also qualified for the senior property tax deduction this year
