The defense has the players to be No.1. But if the offense leaves them on the field too much? It won't happen. We need a run game and a coach that will run. We don't have that. Still it will be a vicious defense to watch when rested.

Good point. We've seen how if left on the field too much the defense can struggle - they seemed to dial it in a bit because they knew the offence wasn't going to do anything.

Most defenses break down if they're forced to stay on the field longer due to the usual Bears offensive ineptitude, especially when those struggles are compounded with turnovers and 3 and outs (which are pretty much turnovers as far as I'm concerned). What magnifies these problems is the fact that the NFL's rules and the league's enforcement of them overwhelmingingly favors offense.

Yep.

Only the Jets punted more than the Bears last year, and our defense was top five.

In general, that explains why we are 8-8, and lucky to be 8-8 at that.

Don’t like this. if things don’t go well this will be referenced non stop. Built in go to.

”why did you sign him, blah blah, blah, he can’t play the left, blah blah blah.“

At first glance I began to worry that yet again, this team will take a guy and play him out of position, but thankfully NO.

Thankfully won't be an issue...

So search for some obscure rating backing up your lie and just ignore the actual NFL ranking.
(Defense-adjusted Value Over Average) ???????????

Good job.

Pro Football Focus isn't an actual NFL ranking dumb ass. Do you really think the Bears, Vikings and Chiefs had a better D than the 49ers??? Are you fucking Special person???? The ACTUAL NFL ranking, which is by total yards allowed, the Bears are 8th. I guess in the world of an idiot the ONLY stats that matter are from the one and only Pro Football Focus.

And are you going to tell me that the 49ers were the 8th ranked D in the league?????? It's not the wrong opinion either dipshit.

Was it so hard to post a link or something of value the first time? You clearly saw something you disagreed with but did nothing to back it up. That's my only point, and you proved me right that you can do it!

Now you guys can debate the merit of your opinions and sources backing those up...kinda the point of a forum.
Beats arguing over nothing. ...and name calling, which you're clearly good at too. :D

It could be debated that TOTAL yards needs to be adjusted to total # of defensive snaps or drives defended, which surely the Bears had more with bottom 3 offense in nearly every category. Yards / play would be a better overall defensive measure IMHO. Where they at with that?

2/10 CCS fight.

Not enough blood and too quick to end.

Emperor needed to spend more money on bread for the crowds than he thought.

More training required.

Just fucking with you two. hahaha

feels weird around here, ghost town vibe sometimes. Miss a good scrap or two now and then.

but NEVER reported by the Bears. Were they intentionally hiding the injury?

Yes. And he played through it. It wad his intent to let them know it was "bothering" him.

He probably didnt want anyone going low.

If true, the Bears could be penalized by the league. Hiding injuries isn’t tolerated anymore.
