His first round picks have been bad but he manages to find quality picks later.

Makes sense that you don't even know when pace got hired.

If you saw the emery draft classes you'd probably understand what drafting trash looks like.

Horrible. If any of you performed like this guy Pace on your job, you would be fired.

Pace had drafted ZERO superstars.... mostly busts and average/below average players. Arguably his best pick was Eddie Jackson but even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.

It's so damn depressing. I long for the days of Vanisi and Tobin. The McCaskey's hire a consultant, were "thorough" in their search, and ended up with Pace......WTF. His scouting ability isn't worth shit. The Kevin White and Trubisky picks were horrific.

I'm pretty sure you've never looked at another GM's draft history.

Usually people who talk this way haven't. Meatballs, we call um.

He's been horrible in the first round, but 2nd and down he's been as good as any GM in the nfl.

He's a good evaluator of talent. He will get fired eventually because he missed on mitch.

He's gotten excellent value in the later rounds, as well.

Amos, Eddie, Cohen, Wims, Howard, Bush, Kwiat, Nichols are all NFL "starters" and drafted 4th or later.

KW never stepped on the field cause he kept getting injured.

What about his injury free college career made you think he was going to be injured?

Go rewatch that draft. Everyone loved that pick, including a guy who works in the front office of the oakland raiders now.

True. White was a stud before he was drafted. Only horrific with how things turned out....huge disappointment/shit luck.

He had a meh college career and wasn't worthy of being picked that high.

He did not have a meh college career.

Yes, he only produced in one year, but he had 1447 yards and 109 catches for 10 touchdowns.

This is in one season.

Its not like he did nothing the year prior, he had 500 yards and 5 touchdowns in a limited role. He was also a JUCO standout.

The guy was not a one trick pony either. He ran a full route tree at west virginia and had amazing hands.

His only question mark coming out was his speed, then he ran a 4.35 40.

KW was rated higher than Amari on a lot of draft boards. They were basically 1a and 1b. Everyone loved KW because they thought he could be elite and special. His comps were Julio Jones and Nuk. Everyone assumed Amari would be very good but not gamebreaking. They were right with Amari.

That’s the point. It wasn’t a bad pick, just bad luck. Mitch was a bad pick, one that may ultimately cost him his job.
