2) 2nd most Bears thing is:
Clean house.
Look to a successful franchise and "handpick" a regional scout to be GM as some kind of genius "diamond in the rough" move.
He hires a successful XFL retread OC as HC for an "outside the NFL box" move that is heralded inside Halas Hall as playing 4D chess on the NFL's 2D checkerboard.
Improve to 9-7 first year that buys them 3 more years no matter what their records are until EVERYONE in the NFL from fans to analysts to beat guys are begging the Bears to do something - ANYTHING - different ..

If thats the case we can start looking forward to what coaches and gm candidates will be available next year. Unfortunately these dbags are going to mortgage the future this year for whoever comes in. It'll be near impossible for them to build a real contender this offseason.
Should've brought someone in to begin a tear down and rebuild...now is the time for that.
