Why would attendance at games affect the salary cap that much? I thought for the nfl it was mostly the tv revenue that matted.

If I were a really good player I'd consider sitting out a year and saving my body the wear and tear if I didn't get the market value

1. The Browns, Miami, and NE are in good shape to attract FAs
2. Philly is not bad but sticking with Wentz will hurt them.
3. The Bears are fucked and this cap space savings basically going to Pace Fuck ups.

Still skeptical this is will happen, there are easier ways for owners to save on cap money in the 3-5 year term that dont involve forcing teams to blow up their rosters and pissing off players already under contract. Sounds like a starting point that will get negotiated to something else.

I saw an example of Suh’s salary going from 7 mil to 3 mil under the new (potential) cap. That’s not gonna fly.....
not good...
I'm willing to bust my ass if we can have a winning team to paid the players but damn...

Philly is 50 million over the cap. Trying to get rid of Wentz would have added to cap.

I mean, its not just pace's fault. No one predicted that a global pandemic would happen that would reduce the cap by 10% instead of increasing it by 10%.....Thats a 20% cap shrinkage over what was expected.

A lot of teams are fucked in the cap situation right now. Dick move by the league, but I get it.

Dick move by the league? Get a grip. Players demanded a slice of future revenue increases. They got what they asked for, except now that league revenue dropped, they want to cry foul.

The knife cuts both ways be-otch boi.
