for sure, but if there's one get better game on the schedule this one is it. * and possibly the Jets

Whitehair is down.

We ain’t getting better losing our best lineman.

The left side is probably now physically the weakest line from LT-LG-C that has started in this league since the 80’s. How is that gonna go?

Carson Wentz can beat this sack of shit team easily.

Oh, Bears are definitely losing to Washington without a doubt. Total trap game.

In terms of the OP question - I'm taking the trade down as of right now. There are so many holes on this team currently, Bears need the capital. If Bryce Young is on the board, they will get 3 firsts imo - you take that shit and run. Give Fields one more season while you build out the roster and if he doesn't work out - you have plenty of Firsts in the bank lol.
The underwhelming Bears looking past an underwhelming opponent would be the biggest indictment of this coaching staff yet.

Yeah I don't think the Bears have trap games. I just think after losing to the giants, they aren't better than anyone they play the rest of the season. Washington is exponentially more skilled on both sides of the ball.

1) Bryce Young
2)Will Anderson
3)???????

Do you take JSN, who has had a lingering hamstring injury, 4 rec and 3DNP's in 5 games so far?
Do you take Jalen Carter, an elite 3 tech T, the motor that makes the Flus defense run?
Do you trade down to to the early teens for 2023 1st, 2nd, 2024 1st, 2nd?
Trade down all day

Look past?

Who here thinks we are better than Washington?

I think Mooney would be their #3 or #4 WR.

I count zero offensive lineman who would start for Washington. Maybe Jenkins but I would have to see him play a full game against the Vikings first and my guess is we will find out why he plays 25% of reps if we have to pass much. Our prayer will be we don’t have to pass.

Our defense is ok except Theilen will probably roast our #2 for 11/120/2
No matter, only special defenses can sometimes stop offenses in this rule book.

We got gifted a game in the rain against another QB that can’t pass, and then Lovie got off the bus running and rookie coughed up 2.

Who else is going to play patsy/footsy with us?

I think Stroud is going #1 overall and I pass on Young at #3 or #4. Non prototypical QB in a great system with great talent.. was Tua worth the 5th overall?

I probably pick Carter if he stays healthy and continues to be dominant.

Way too early for this conversation. Let's stick with fixing blame for the current offense: is it Fields, the offensive line, the receivers, the play calling, Poles, Pace, Roquan or Gordan.

Was Barkley the last rb taken in top ten?
Yes...and only a handful taken in the 1st round since then...I'm having flashbacks of the 2005 draft where they picked #4 and went RB,

Which none of the RBs taken in the top 5 helped their respected teams they were drafted by. Jury is still out on Barkley.

If Anderson is there you pick him, no questions asked. He's a generational pass rusher. If hes not there, I'd be looking for trade back picks and OLine help. We need a center, left gaurd, and right tackle. In my opinion, next year's draft should be all about OLine and WR (except for Anderson).

Agreed. Najee Harris was a stud and 24th overall.

Would it do us any good to get a QB without an offense (again)?

I could see calling it quits on Fields for an obvious QB pick but would we be willing to commit the rest of the top rounds to fixing the offense for him? If we won't we may as well not bother.
I mean it could and should be done but would the Bears do it?

If they won't by all means trade down to fill more holes now and get the QB next time.

Trade down, Trade Fields... and draft only Defense.

It's the only thing the organization knows.

All depends on 2 things:

1. What Poles does in Free Agency
2. How Fields ends the year.
