Quintessential Bears game. Slim playoff hopes on the line, come out and lay an egg. Yet another prime time nationally televised embarrassment. Offense ineptitude at every level. Giving up back breaking big plays in the most inopportune moments. Mack in witness protection no where to be found. Can't make a kick to save our lives. Nagy pulls the plug on Trubisky for Chase to come in and predictably do no nothing because Nagy's offense is capable of nothing. That highlight montage they ran of Nagy's razzle dazzle gimmick plays from last year was priceless. Shame his offense can't do the fucking basics like run, block, and catch.

And just when you thought it couldn't be a bigger joke Bears PR comes out with a convenient hip injury for Trubisky to try and save some face. Classic Bears, putting on a clinic on how to make a bad situation worse. What a circus this team franchise is. Might as well bring in Kaepernick at this point lol.

This franchise needs a complete purge for 2020. Sweaty Teddy, Pace, Nagy - gotta go. Trubisky, nice guy, not going to work out in Chicago. Let him go some where else to try and salvage his career. Promote Pagano. Let him bring in an offensive staff that isn't Special person. Bring in someone like Bridgewater/Mariota, draft another one with one of those 2nds. Go from there.

This makes too much sense for It to happen.
This is a losing franchise because they alway do the wrong things.

Just because your boy Trubisky finally got the hook is no reason to blow up the team.

I wonder if the phantom hip injury occurred on that brilliant option call lol. As disappointing as Trubisky has been this season Nagy continues to prove himself a fucking moron on a weekly basis. Funny to watch McVay abandon his scheme to go with what was working to run the ball down our throat and then counter our defensive adjustments to generate some big plays.

Meanwhile, Nagy continues living in denial blindly throwing darts at a wall. Crazy to watch a guy go from coach of the year to completely exposed in a year. Unreal.

Nafy is a stubborn man. He sacrificed Trubisky and threw him under a bus thinkinh his job was secure.

His offensive playcalling and scheme are trash. He has no idea how to call a football game.

Zone runs force linemen to stand still. Power running allows them to attack. Figure it out man.

Didn’t watch the game but caught game cast when Bears were 3rd and 1 some point in the 3rd quarter for Trubisky to throw an incomplete pass. Nagy is not a NFL coach, plain and simple. He’s got “I’m the smartest guy in the room” syndrome. Unfortunately, Trubisky is ruined at this point so he rides the bench next season and you bring in a cheap veteran given Pace’s mismanagement of the situation.

Yeah, it sucks. If the Bears had even just a slightly better than bottom 5 offense, they’d probably be at least 7-3 right now.
Yup. A competent offense definitely gets wins against the Chargers, Rams, and Eagles. That's 7-3. Hell, even just competent kicking gives the Bears the win against the Chargers and a much better chance against the Rams.

We could definitely be 6-4, 7-3 at a push.

But this is undoubtedly a bad team that deserves their 4-6 record.

We are miles behind the playoff contenders in the NFC. We have no QB, our coach is, best case scenario, still figuring it out and our GM has one winning season in 5 and zero playoff wins.

We have some pieces to build around but not as many as we thought. Time to trade some older players away and get a new GM in.

You already know the mccaskeys aren’t forking over 2 years of salary’s for pace and Nagy to sit on the sideline.

Then force Pagano on a new GM lol. Start the circus over again. Only if Luck comes with lol.

Even the Packers game! They could be 8-2.

That was a unique situation where the Bears were getting clowned on by 20-30 points on the regular. They were a complete embarrassment.

No chance the McCaskeys pull the trigger 1 year removed from both the GM and head coach winning exec and coach of the year honors.

The leash will be much longer.

This team is poorly built. This team is poorly coached.

But, George McCaskey is too scared and cheap to do anything about it.

Expect a Lovie/Jerry, "we suck but nothing is changing" year end press conference.

Get ready for the Nagy offense class 301 folks!

Course syllabus:
  • How to set the tone by starting games running your midget RB up the gut out of shotgun for 0 yards
  • Situational football and how to avoid playing it
  • Short yardage option plays for a banged up QB that no longer wants to run
  • Plays that require space and how to continually run them to the short side of the field
  • Advanced blocking techniques - how confuse your opponent by playing tall and obscuring their vision
  • Advanced play calling techniques - which brand of darts is best for you
  • How to manufacture and run an offseason kicking circus
  • Best audio and lighting options for post game celebrations during losing seasons
