I’ve only watched 5 games this year. In those 5 games we scored over 20 one time and that was the Cowboys game. This offensive scheme seems to be a joke. I cannot figure out the blocking schemes on the o-line. I know Trubisky sucks but it’s not just him. I think Nagy has been exposed. He was brought in to be some offensive genius and this offense is 30th in the league in scoring . I think last year was a product of a weak schedule and a dominant defense. So that’s my opinion what do the rest of you think.

I suppose it would depend on what kind of answers he can provide his boss on the shit show that is the Bears' offense and if he has a viable plan that can fix things in a hurry. A better question is if Ryan Pace should go. Why would you let Pace choose another head coach, if you think Nagy should go? He gets three strikes before he is out - Fox, Nagy and mystery head coach #3?

Take a look at the 4-23 play design that is going around twitter. Should tell you all you need to know.

Nagy needs to change quickly or hire an OC. If he refuses either, he needs to go.

Can anyone name me some offenses in the last 10-15 years that have succeeded with a QB as bad as Mitch?

bears
Bucs
Ravens

have succeeded with shit qbs but they had some pretty good running games to keep the defense fresh to win the games. We have a terrible running game and need a talented rb to win like that

I just cannot trust a coach that cannot run the ball.

Can you imagine running your scripted plays in the beginning of a game and not scoring in the first half in 10 of 16 games?

People keep talking about relinquishing play calling - that's not it. The plays themselves are garbage. He's gotta redo the playbook.

In Nagy's defense, I have seen that the offense looks great when Chase is QB. Issue is that Chase is not mobile enough for this oline and generally sucks. However, the issue with Nagy is that he's playing a QB who doesn't fit his offense and refuses to adjust. He never adjusts to what his players can do. Nagy is stubborn but I think his offense can work. Problem is that he hasn't realized that the current QB doesn't fit his offense.

Mitch is bad, but Nagy is the weakest link.

It's too bad stuff like this will never happen in the NFL but what would be best for the Bears IMO would be to demote M.Nagy to OC so he can focus only on play calling and the offense and then we don't have to eat his contract/money and promote Pagano to HC and either hire a DC of Pagano's choice or promote someone on our defensive staff and let Pagano still call the defensive plays which i think would be much easier for a HC to do then a green coach in play calling and head coaching trying to do both.

I didn't mind the decision to hire M.Nagy cause he was the hot name out there, but it's turned out to be an even bigger chance looking at it now then it was when he first hired him. He was just so green in play calling and of course never been a HC that it looks like it is just too much to take on for him.

I don't think he will get fired but i sure wouldn't mind it if he did depending on who he got replaced with....Greg Roman please.

I do think there needs to be multiple people underneath him fired though and it sure would be nice if he would relinquish the play calling to a new OC but think he's too stubborn to do it.

That same Chase Daniel offense had the least amount of yards against the Raiders all season at 236 total...
Chase lost to the Raiders when the Raiders were literally fumbling snaps and giving the ball to him on a short field...

As terrible as that is, the score is 23-3. Waiting till the end of the game to try to get in sync downfield is dumb as fuck.

This is a stupid way to try to prove a point. It is impossible to see from this view is all those WRs were "open" BEFORE the throw. Of course they aren't after, as the defenders are no longer covering those guys and reacting to the ball.

Wims may not have been the best option (likely wasn't). But this isn't the way to "prove" it...
