Should Poles trade Fields this off-season while his value is sky high? (Maybe get Houston’s two top 10 picks, one of which will be #1 overall) FTO

No. You build around him.

Slow morning is it?

Why not just bump an old account from the depths to rattle the cages if the clicks and googlebucks are slow ...

Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you

Even if Houston offered that, I pass. Jack Easterby isn’t running shit anymore, meaning his replacement may be as brainless as he was.

If he can't figure out how to play the actual QB position then maybe.

Fields is kind of the equivalent of Hester, a ridiculous athletic talent with great vision and speed, but just like Hester could not figure out how to be a WR, Fields needs to figure out how to be a QB.

All it's going to take is a small injury to fields and his running ability will suffer, and if he hasn't figured out how to be a QB then we have a non mobile QB that can't read a D and can only throw to wide open receiver and is averaging less then 200 yards per game. That's not a recipe for success.

Right now they need to tell him to only use his running ability to buy time so he can throw the ball.. this is a huge waste of a year if he doesn't develop into an actual QB
Atleast 1 person is using his head instead of emotions. We are 1 injury away from not having a legit NFL QB again. He does need to get better in the pocket and read defenses faster. I believe he will but right now he is 1 leg injury from career death. Without his athletic ability he is not a NFL QB. He can be tho, given time and help. NO way we trade him right now. Chicago would burn.

That post lost me the moment it compared a career quarterback to a return specialist, but I wish you all luck going back & forth about that all day long!

No. I’ll pass. Already caused someone on this board with mental issues to go off the rails today. I don’t want another head case doing the same.

Exactly.

Look at the 9ers. Would you take the entirety of their offense over ours? I wouldn't. It's a lot better top to bottom, save for one position, yet Garoppolo is more than enough for me to not pick the 9ers over the Chiefs or Bills in a superbowl matchup. I probably like the Eagles over them in an NFC championship game as well with the way Hurts has developed.

Let's not think it's a good idea to turn Justin Fields into Jimmy Garoppolo for any reason.

4 straight weeks of 30+ points per game. Yup time to toss the bum out. We just can't have this as I have NO idea on how to relate.

so it took us 60 years to find a QB and we should get rid of him to see if we can keep the streak going? smart
If there was such a trade made, I would hope that the Chicago Bear's fans would burn Bear's headquarters down.

Can't say my heart ain't in my throat at times when JF takes off but he's absolutely shredding defenses when he does.....spies or no spies. How does any offense go away from it? Well protected pocket passers get hurt too.

Better and more weapons, improved protection and maturity should result in more of a pocket QB who slides more often for career preservation alone but mobility will always be his strong suit.......how many sacks has he simply run away from? He'll more than likely continue to be a 'roll-out' QB though, since he's so good at it.........gotta find OL's that are good in a moving pocket type blocking scheme.

Other than the designed runs,JF takes off after seeing nobody open,a WR or two who can get separation will make taking off less necessary but still a very dangerous option defenses will continue to plan for taking a LB or SF out of coverage with 'spy' duties.
I see his development as on schedule and I really like the way he's been utilizing his TE's lately......he only gets better with more talent around him IMO.

bruh it's only his first full season as starter playing the most difficult position in all sports. First season with new coaching staff, new playbook etc.

after he rid himself off of the ohio state curse the sky is the limit with this kid.

It's in Poles hands now. The roster is a mish mash of guys on one year / last year deals. Bears have the most cap room in 2023. They could also potentially trade down from and stock picks.

Arlington Stadium will be completed by 2026 as well? OMFG!!!!

Look here, buddy-guy, this is the closest the Bears have ever been to making actual Chicken Salad.

So, pipe down with your chicken shit bullshit and stop putting your nonsense into the ether.
