Can't say my heart ain't in my throat at times when JF takes off but he's absolutely shredding defenses when he does.....spies or no spies. How does any offense go away from it? Well protected pocket passers get hurt too.
Better and more weapons, improved protection and maturity should result in more of a pocket QB who slides more often for career preservation alone but mobility will always be his strong suit.......how many sacks has he simply run away from? He'll more than likely continue to be a 'roll-out' QB though, since he's so good at it.........gotta find OL's that are good in a moving pocket type blocking scheme.
Other than the designed runs,JF takes off after seeing nobody open,a WR or two who can get separation will make taking off less necessary but still a very dangerous option defenses will continue to plan for taking a LB or SF out of coverage with 'spy' duties.
I see his development as on schedule and I really like the way he's been utilizing his TE's lately......he only gets better with more talent around him IMO.
