If you're going to relocate the team to a suburb, it should be Schaumburg. It has a Hooters, Woodfield Mall, lots of hotels, Gameworks, and high class escorts to relieve the talent in the organization.

And where is Schaumburg’s Six Flags, you moron?

There are days where a commute from the far south suburbs up to Gurnee might not be much quicker than just driving down to Indy for a game.

What I’m seeing right now in the Bears game would not happen in Gurnee. This defense would not be folding and falli apart in front of the Gurnee crowd. The adrenaline the fans and the players would get from the screaming Six Flags patrons on roller coasters in the background would be unparalleled.

Very seriously, I say yes. They don't get money from the concessions, they don't get money from other events being at the venue, the stadium is small, the admissions to the stadium are a nightmare, and the restrooms are a joke. This doesn't even account for the fiasco that is parking.

There's not much to like about the stadium and no really good reason to stay other than the location and history of the stadium (which they kind of ruined when they rebuilt it).

I say move all day long. I prefer some place like Crystal Lake though

No. I don’t want a bunch of mouth breathing meatballs coming in every week. Also there’s no hooters, Six Flags or mall.
It would cause a lot of season ticket holders to stop going, you know the ones that live south and west towards Kankakee, Joliet, Manteno,

Kankakee and Manteno aren’t even Chicago suburbs. Who gives a f*ck what they think?
Nailpounder, no one cares about the south siders. They have no money

Just like you.

Just laugh at all these non-season ticket holders projecting what season ticket holders want wrt a new stadium. Roughly half of the season ticket holders hold PSLs. Those PSLs are currently worth roughly 10x their original cost. With a new stadium, those PSLs would be worth precisely $0. Even the non-PSL ticket holders benefit from the small, compact Soldier Field. They are closer to the field, and the resale value of their tickets is higher due to supply vs demand. Don’t see much motivation for existing season ticket holders toward a new stadium...

Real fans dont care about the "investment" decisions of morons. We want wins. Soldier field is a loser stadium.

Put a couple Portillo's at Soldier, Start excavating under the stadium for a 5 + level parking lot with lots of toilets for before and after, then build a four lane overpass to merge onto LSD after, putting a hat on it and increasing the height of the all around seating. Get the 85,000 seating capacity and occasional SB to Chicago, in Chicago ( And take out some seating for more toilets as you increase seating in the upwards build up )

Funny. No mention of Hooters or Six Flags. The Chicago location is inferior in every way to the Gurnee location.

Hahaha. There is so much near to Soldier, overall, it TRUMPs a Hooters or Six Flags
Build a Monorail along LSD, that drops people off to other locations and parking too

If having Six Flags close by means weekly visit by cows from Milwaukee, Green Bay, and Kenosha and living in the vicinity of hearing butt rock from 95.1 WIIL, I'll take pretty hos, I mean classy cougar escorts in Schaumburg (plus the barely legal thots at Woodfield Mall).

stating the obvious, i think its a bit soon for a new stadium. I also dont think its bad or outdated. Only thing for me is i dont do heights well. Being on that upper level and how steep it is made me nervous.

It seems like Solider Field has done the Bears no favors, as they have been bottom feeders in the NFL for years.

I think a good turn around for the franchise and for Matt Nagy requires a new stadium. I suggest they build this stadium in Gurnee, Illinois.

Benefits:
Short commute from Halas Hall.

Mitch Trubisky lives on the border of Libertyville and Gurnee, this will motivate him to be the best

Six Flags is right there, players can go there to relieve stress.

Gurnee Mills is a cultural landmark, much like the Statue of Liberty or the Eiffel Tower.

Gurnee has a Portillos and a Chick Fil A.

Cons:

Virtually none.

What say you?
Bears traditionally have QB's that SUCK, and playing fields that SUCK!.........They need to move back to playing in Wrigley Field!

Wrigley Field and Soldier Field have something in common. They are both landmarks that have held it's teams back!
