So how come Bradley Chubb netted a 1st and Mack a 2nd?

Chubby is Injury prone, plus you gotta pay the man huge dollars. yuger dollars than whats left on macks contract

These weres the reasons why ppls saids Mack gotted a 2nd.

Maybe one was on rookie contract and the other took a big salary with?

Maybe one are the Dolphins and other the Chargers?

We easily would get a first for Mack but Poles decided to take him off the books.

Additionally, Miami was under pressure to receive someone that would help carry a playoff run mid-season. They paid a premium because they were running out of time and options.

Oh so the goal post is moved and now its about the age.

I mean the great reggie white played unitl he was like 39, right?

Macks got a good 8 years left if he wants.

PLus old ass Von Miller signed a 6 year 120 mil deal at the age of 33.. since he was too old it was a short term/discounted deal...

Mack netted 2 firsts when he was traded at Chubb's stage of career.

When Chubb is 31 he will not net a first if traded.

Pretty simple.

Mack got 2, because it was Pace.. member.. trade value would be a lil off..

Sorry, you asked why and got a lots of unsatisfied answers and now you come so to us?

Below you mentioned Pace paid 2 1st. Maybe Bill's GM is 'Pacing' and gives von Miller a contract he's not worth?

Tell us, what do you want to hear and I try to write it.

Age is always part of the equation when discussing compensation. It is across all sports and pretty much has always been.

And I’d venture to say Mack doesn’t have another 7-8 seasons in him.

One thing I have noticed is that the Bears never fleece other teams in a trade. The Bears have gotten fleeced in trades but never the reverse. Just my observation (not talking about the Mack trade with the Chargers).

So then why are you complaining that he only got a 2nd round pick four years later at the end of his peak window?

Seems like that undermines your point to downplay how good he was four years ago.

His peak window? now we all know how long a specific person is going to play and what that players peak and valleys are 8 years from now.

Nah, if I was around under another ALT, I would have said 2 1st were too much. Even though I liked Mack. Pace would give ya 4 picks to move up 1 spot to draft a guy nobody else wanted @ 2. So Pace winning a deal in terms of value is meh. Seems Poles is following suit. Dont hate the trades Poles has made, but I question some of the values. Mack to be more specific.

Von Miller, who is older than Mack got more as a rental player.

Who was offering a 1st for Mack?

Age, contract, injury, reduced production. Lots of factors led to him only netting a 2nd round pick. or... POLES GOT FLEECED!

Maybe the raiders, but Poles never called them. So who knows who else he didnt call.

Yeah and Chubby has missed like 30 games and still got a 1st.. haha

Just quickly off the top of my head the Bears got a pick for One Shoulder Ant Mill.

You should go back to your other alt, it was much more interesting to hear someone incessantly writing about killing himself as though he were an Australian, and then spamming the board with porn, than someone making bad points about football. We have plenty of that here already.

I think most GMs assume that players begin to decline in their early 30s at EDGE. Of course not all do, but obviously when you trade for someone you're not assuming they will be a productive player at 35 even though a handful of guys still are. You are playing odds in an uncertain future, and the odds are much worse that a guy will be productive 32-35 than 27-31.

Von Miller cost $0. And Mack was coming off an injury.

IDK what ALT you are referring to but you seem to remember a great deal about them. They def left their mark in your brane. I wonder if it was my good friend and mentor. that bear was a legit prophet

Bad points about football. Hmm you got any good ones?

What bad takes have I had

quick 4 that arent aging well.

I noted fields small hands and fumbling @ OSU pre/post draft.. yeah.
said fields had all the tools but lacked a level of awareness @ OSU pre/post draft.
said monty should be worried about herbert after he was DRAFTED cause he was just as good if not better.
said fields is also the Bears goat QB, the franchise, the truth, the ONE.

thats all i can remember.. i have so many uncalledits.. its crazy.. really crazy... my alt has 2 decades of hits.. Also, idk even know who you are.. so sorry if i missed your one hot takes that made sense or showed you as a visionary.

Von Miller cost 2 picks. stop acting like he was free.

As a man in honga konga I too think of killing meself at times.
