If Ridley was actually available to play that certainly would have been the right move. I don't think you'll find anyone that thinks Claypool is a better wr than Ridley. However, the guy played all of 5 games in 2021 before quitting for mental health reasons. By the time he takes a meaningful snap it will be nearly two calendar years.
