It sucks was a horrible trade, but rookie GM is going to mess up, just part of it. With this gift though they can easily make it up.

Now is the time to see what Poles can do and what he is about. Just happy this dumb season is over.

We have our qb and the top pick, basically dream scenario when this season started.

The 32nd pick for Claypool is not good value. Not sure why that makes some of you some angry. Hopefully he plays much better next year. But if you can't find a better player at pick 32 than Claypool you are not a good GM.

considering the free agent market for WRs that will actually hit the market and the weak WR draft it it good value. He is a big possession fast WR that the bears didn’t have. Remember time is money they are working with a rookie QB contract that doesn’t last long.

Let's give Claypool an off season to work with Fields before we bail on the trade. Claypool has been a non-factor this year but he has all the physical tools to be a complete receiver. The timing of the trade made no sense to me. It was clear the Bears were going nowhere this year. Why make a mid-season trade for Claypool when you could easily draft a WR in the 2023 draft with the second round pick that was used to secure Claypool?

Maybe Poles was trying to provide support for Fields but that was a half hearted attempt, at best.
