Some cool work I'm doing right now.

Right now I'm doing some work for a website called newsy.com, which is a multi-source video news service. It's kind of like a professional video blog type of thing. It basically puts together news stories, using multiple sources.

One of the things that the company is exceeding at, is that they have one of the best iphone/ipad apps for video news, which has really helped the company grow some.

I'm working on sports and entertainment stories for them.

I did my first story for the company yesterday. I wrote a story on the NBA Draft for them.

I didn't get to write this one because someone was already on it, but I helped do some of the background research for it.

My own story this week (which should be up Saturday I would say), is going to be how the Knicks started the whole 2010 free agency trend, only to be outclassed in it. Still looking for a proper angle to put it in. I was thinking of putting it in context of the Bulls and how they have so deeply impacted the Knicks (the Eddy Curry trade, bringing it into Mike D'Antoni and the 08 lottery, and then the Hinrich trade). Still have a lot of work to do to pull the whole story together though, as I have to dig through old articles and videos for a lot of the content for the story.
