BOURBONNAIS --The Bears are expected to make a roster move in the next day or so, according to a source.

What exactly is in the works is unknown. The team has been swapping out injured players to bring fresh bodies in since camp began. But none of the injuries are believed to be serious.

Running back Harvey Unga, a seventh-round draft supplemental draft selection, remains sidelined with a hamstring pull that coach Lovie Smith said would keep him out for some time. But it's unlikely the move would involve Unga, even if he remains a ways away from returning to the field.

Wide receiver Antonio Robinson, an undrafted free agent from Nicholls State, has a shin injury and was walking with a small boot on his foot and lower leg Tuesday. He's at the bottom of the depth chart. Everyone else is pretty much day-to-day when it comes to sore muscles and achy joints.

Of course, a roster move doesn't have to involve someone with a bump or bruise.

The Bears will hold practice at 3 p.m. Wednesday.

I don't know if this is it, but the Bears sign LB Kelvin Smith.

The Bears waived WR Antonio Robinson. He has a stress fracture in shin & will be sidelined 4 to 6 weeks. Could land injury settlement. Per Brad Briggs.

Dropping Robinson for Smith is probably it, but the Ravens are looking desperately for a CB. I don't see anything happening because our corners are weak anyway, but it's just a thought
