Jaylon Johnson ran with the TWOs also. All I took from that fiasco, & this one also is that there are WAY too many people calling themselves football analysts and even self proclaimed experts in the current day.

WAY too many.

I am not sure why people seemed surprised that the Bears are playing around with different offensive line combinations. It's been talked to death how it's a group with some of the biggest questions. It makes sense to me to experiment at this stage and see which guys step up.

And as also noted many times by now, for the offensive line especially, no one really knows until they put the pads on in training camp.

This makes sense. if injuries or Covid strikes, this builds cohesiveness with starters and backups.

One of the Bears beat writers mentioned that Poles and his staff never viewed Jenkins as a legitimate starter therefore he's never been "demoted."
