If Jenkins tries to fight for Right Guard, I think he wins. based off this game.
Probably not. Schofield was going against one of best DTs in football. Jenkins was playing guys that will be out of the league in 2 weeksIf Jenkins tries to fight for Right Guard, I think he wins. based off this game.
I thought he looked pretty suspect in pass pro. Got worked a few times from what I recallProbably not. Schofield was going against one of best DTs in football. Jenkins was playing guys that will be out of the league in 2 weeks
Which raises the question, why did they start him against such inferior competition?
He should amputate roquan’s back in preseason against fourth-string surgeons
How many TDs did he have against Clemson? I lost count...everyone has to start somewhere to build confidence . . .
no different then justin padding stats vs the inferior big 10 conference . . .
let's overreact on Scholfield and his one bad play. He has a track record as a capable RG. smhIt would be nice if Borom or Jenkins could play RG as Schofield looks like ass...assuming Reiff is fine at RT

My hope springs eternal... until it doesn't.‘Everything is pointing up:' Now healthy, Jenkins ready to ‘show out'
Teven Jenkins left the Bears’ preseason win over the Chiefs with a clean bill of health, a bone-crushing block for his mantle, and a soul warmed and reinvigorated with the love of football.www.nbcsports.com
Nice to see Jenkins saying the right things and talking about how he loves the game and being out there with his teammates after all the talk he had to listen to when he was mysteriously out for that week/week and a half.‘Everything is pointing up:' Now healthy, Jenkins ready to ‘show out'

Unsigned until July (for a reason)let's overreact on Scholfield and his one bad play. He has a track record as a capable RG. smh
Borom is likely the swing tackle. I don’t see Jenkins beating out Reiff at RT. His only path to start is at RG, IMO. Quite possibly would be his best position anyway.Unsigned until July (for a reason)
Signed for vet minimum
He can easily be tossed aside but i don't see the bears offering any real options/competition at RG
Carter is a year+ away,
please no on mustipher
Thomas is likely a cut/ps guy.
why not give reps to Borom/Jenkins at RG as both had projections at that spot and are blocked at T by Jones/Reiff and each other
I thought I saw the same though didn't watch any replays. To be fair he had his share of rust too like Schofield.I thought he looked pretty suspect in pass pro. Got worked a few times from what I recall

Not safe but the chances of Borom/Jenkins beating him out are slim. For me, there have been no indications that Reiff won’t be our starting RT.Reiff is by no means safe. If he is not considerably better than Jenkins or Borom then let one of the young guys start. That would save you money too as his base is only 3.5m and jumps to 12.5m with performance incentives.
