I would like to thank Fox for several things:

1. Showing the front office that a conservative approach to coaching does not win in the NFL.
2. Running an ultra conservative Offense and keeping Trubisky Healthy in the process.
3. Teaching Shaheen to block before you let him touch a single ball in the passing game.
4. Giving the opponents in the coming season no intelligence on what to expect from the Chicago Bears
5. No Sarcasm here - He did start to develop a culture in the locker room, that will hopefully bleed into next year. As many losses as we had last year, he could have lost the locker room, but they played hard and with a team first mentality to the last game.

Now go home and enjoy retirement, because I do not want to hear you blabbering on TV over a football game.

How many of you clowns were more than happy to give him 2 of his 3 years to fuck up? More than half of you.

If you really want to find the right idiot to blame, it's Ryan Pace. Thanks Ryan for wasting 3 years of our time

He did exactly what I expected him to do here. (except I thought he would have at least gotten us a 8-8 record)

Got this big ass ship turned around and pointed in the right direction. (And he did it while almost the entire roster was replaced)

Pretty sure Fox was crammed down Pace's throat do to the fact that he was green and didn't know better, Nagy hire looks and feels like proper Pace decision without anyone whispering in his ear what to do.

I am. But I do agree with you that it was a complete waste of time. And Fox was ultimately a very bad choice. And I do believe that the McCaskeys/Teddy are stupid enough to have put this process in place. I’m looking forward and not back with the realization that any future success the Bears have will be in spite of the McCaskeys ability to run a football team.

I said this early on but Fox was exactly like Rick Renteria on the Cubs. Here for the sucking/transition phase and then gone once the main pieces started to fall into place. Nagy is Joe Maddon and here to take us to a championship.

"Swaety" Teddy and "King" George were sitting in the room while Snails got "excited" talking to "Sha Na" Nagy . . . They said so themselves. You for real, kid? . . .

If Fox was Pace's one and only "oops" moment, your theory it might be worth considering. But the Bears remain mired at 5-11 more because of Pace than Fox. In the past, Fox has demonstrated that if you give him a superior roster, he won't totally screw it up. Pace on the other hand has made some absolutely horrible decisions that directly led to these consecutive crap seasons. Start with Mike Glennon and work backwards.

CORRECTION: Pace isn't 5-and-11. He's 14-and-34.

14-and-34 . . .
