If the tank is on, and a huge defenseman is needed, then this is the draft to do it.
Owen Power is the jewel of next year's draft. Big and tough.
Brant Clarke might be a Neidermyer type.
Carson Lambos might be the best all round defenseman in the draft.
Aatu Raty is on an island right now as the best forward and is a Toews clone.
And the youngest Hughes brother is going to shoot up this draft on his name and skating.
Now that Blowman and the Hawks have finally come out and said the word "rebuild" they should have hit the home run last draft with Lapp. I like Reichel, but if they're actually going to commit to a two year rebuild, I don't think it goes past two years instead of fooling themselves thinking this team can contend, then try hitting the home run instead of just getting on base.
Power and Zadorov on the blue line would be scary. They need to start investing in draft picks. This draft is deep, not last year deep, but still solid enough into the middle of the first in quality.
