It USED TO BE legit. Back when Ralston introduced it. It's been reformulated several times. And never nearly as good. Pretty flavorless now. Such a shame.

The chocolate coated "Breakfast Bars" were a knockout of great flavor, but just got smaller and less tasty as manufacturing made em cheaper and cheaper. Fucking idiots.

My mom used to buy grape nuts. It’s edible if you add sugar. A lot of sugar.

I asked for Grape Nuts once at the store. the name is very misleading. I never forgave those fucking people for it and I think I said I'm never eating this ever again to my mom.

Sure seems like the name refers to BO Jackson more than Eddie. Pretty odd to me.
And it's gotta be really messy...likely misses your mouth while trying to eat. And misses the bowl while pouring from the box. ?

I actually tried these cause they were on clearance at marianos.

Worst cereal I've ever had. The came stale the moment you open the bag. Taste like cardboard with shitty fake cinnamon flavored sugar.

Didn't read the entire thread, but back near the beginning of it, concerns about depth were brought up an I don't know if anyone really addressed the question.

IMHO, the depth of the milk level in the bowl that you add to the cereal is critical to whole cereal experience.

Does anyone measure, or do the purists just pour until it's just right?
