Also, Sam Darnold, the QB everyone wanted to "tank" for in 2018, is 8/13 for 83 yards and his team is losing to Western Mighigan at home.

Ok, I guess I'll beat the Josh Allen drum. Still my #1 QB. The inaccuracy is a little overblown. He could easily get to 60% completions if his OC helped him out some. I think his OC likes to see his arm strength too, as he doesn't give him the typical college offense throws to get the ball out of his hands. The first 3 games I watched of him last year, Allen threw a total of 5 screen passes in 3 games. In fact, he rarely even throws the ball fewer than 15 yards in the air. A lot of throws in the 15-25 yard window. And even his throws under 10 yards are a lot of out routes to the far side of the field AKA more than 15 yards across the field. Part of it may be Allen not taking the safe throws, but watching, I see very few checkdown opportunities available for him.
FWIW, Darnold's regular season numbers vs. bowl teams last year were 4 TDs and 5 INTs. And he plays with 4 & 5 star recruits. Josh Allen plays with bottom D1 talent, though admittedly his 1 TD, 7 INTs vs. Nebraska and Iowa is not acceptable.

A lot of these QBs have potential but Trubisky was about as safe as it gets. Accurate, mobile and already showed some ability to read. More importantly he proving to be hard working while organised about it, smart and studious. Did I say accurate?
I've said before that Mitchell would be in the top 3 QBs next year and be a single digit pick. Somewhere I don't want to drafting again for a while. Darnold would be the top guy right now but there's a long season ahead for things to change.

Rosen now 28/48 415 yds, 3 TD 0 Ints with a brutal offensive line. It happens fast in cfb.

Garbage time stats. They were losing 44-17 in the 4th. He looks like an NFL QB but he will throw a lot of pics in the NFL.

Hype doesn't matter. If a guy is deemed a great prospect, he's going top 10 regardless of how many there are. If you have a need you take him or trade down with someone that does.
