He assumed that Leno, Massie, and Whitehair would bounce back from 2019, and they really haven't, and he added no competition or viable depth.

He took a massive leap of faith on an OL that was bad in 2019.

When the Bears season ends it is going to be because Pace ignored the OL.
No, no banner. But I am going to enjoy the season when we're 5-1 and take a glass half full approach. I'm not going to be a miserable person and almost wish bad fortune on the team just so I can say that I was right about how bad they are and how they all need to be replaced. I mean fuck: do you want to see the Bears win or not? If winning doesn't actually make you happy then what will? Keep in mind we can't leap into the future here to confirm or deny anything here. I don't even disagree with you that the O line isn't all that good but we are where we are. Dwelling on missed opportunities and/or predicted future short-comings is the hallmark of failure, for a sports team or a person in general.
