The Late Start: Does it Make the Rotation Better?

With a shortened season possibly starting in July does that put seven legitimate starters in play for 5 spots? The extra time has to help both Rodon and Kopech get back in the picture.

That kind of competition has to make the rotation better. It certainly will add depth.

Kopech will improve the rotation once he's back, Rodon hasn't done much if anything since Ken and Hahn dafrted him Third overall six years ago.

Rodon has been good in stretches but he’s frustrating because he’s been a bit injury prone and there are too many instances of him struggling with his command.

Will missing time in the minors to get back up to speed hurt with the return of our guys who are coming off Tommy John?

Wouldn't that ramp up time be valuable to their rehab?
