The reason I say LeBron, is because you know they want to push the whole legacy thing with him.

Saw a tweet about how training camp starts July 9-11, then the restart starts on July 31. Is that a typo, or is it that July 9, 10, and 11 are report to camp days? Seems odd for only a three day camp, and then a 20 day wait until the restart begins.

EDIT: Here's the tweet:

I wonder if this will effect the start of the league going forward. Will next season be a shorter season to maintain the old flow, or will they always start in December from here on out?

I think it will affect seasons going forward.

NBA is losing enough money this season as is. Doubt they want a ~50 game season next year.

Going December - August going forward would also give them more weekends not being H2H with the NFL.

I pretty much ignore the first half of the season anyway.

They have been looking to push it to Christmas Day to open for a couple of years. This probably gives them that chance

Only thing to look forward to is the draft!

I think we should drop back and take Nesmith who got injured but shot lights out 50% from 3 for Vandi!!

Kings are up there. They are dumb enough to trade something to go up!

I mean I know Zion's been gone, but is there any reason not to play him in crunch time of a close game?

They said he would play in bursts. But I agree, should have probably saved him a bit for crunch time.
