My initial reaction was that the OLine played well, but they looked even better on tape. Aside from a few bad reps from Charles Leno they all seemed cohesive and fundamentally balanced. It was evident in the run game and I commend the rbs for running more North and South then they did last year.
All in all I think there was much more positive from watching Mitch, but there were also a few concerning throws he made that reminded me of the bad Mitch. While he was able to progress through his reads on some throws, on others he still reverts back to staring down Robinson. He also missed a few throws, where he made a great decision, but was inaccurate on the delivery. Those frustrate me, because the receiver got separation, the play design was good, the blocking was adequate, and Mitch read it correctly, but then the throw was off the mark.
Overall, he seemed more confident though and I think the good outweighs the bad. As the season goes on I trust he will build a better connection with Mooney and get the TEs more involved.
