Why would the Bears org. want to lose concessions and parking with the city? Also gambling proceeds? Own their own stadium, big money flow. Especially when McCaskey's sell the team after its built,

Looks pretty sweet.

I’m honestly a little worried that people aren’t going to watch Bears games without the skyline. Are they planning on building some skyscrapers in Arlington?
You can see the skyline from Arlington if you look hard enough. Seriously though, take some things from that video and add it to the new stadium. Fans traveled to Champaign to see the Bears when I was college, so I know they would go to Arlington for a State of the Art experience.

  1. It does look gorgeous
  2. I have no idea what CPU and graphics cards were used to render this, but they should have used something faster, probably for both.
  3. Where was this effort two years ago?
  4. It's probably too late.

Building again around existing structures? At least that is what video shows. Ugh.

Guessing Bill Kurtis narrating?

That said, Bears are gone. It will be better in the burbs.

Again..
When you want to buy some shoes, do you wanna keep some of the old pair to incorporate into the new pair?
Do you want to do this, like again - more than once??
Who even does this once?
Insane.

They really should build this anyway. They can host more events that they normally wouldn't be able to due to weather.

Plus it'll become an option should another team come calling.

I thought this too then somebody pointed out that the new team would just share the stadium like the two LA teams do.

The only team that would come to Chicago is the Jacksonville jaguars. I mean what other team will leave their city.

lol let's see how long Rams fans stay interested if the Rams pull out another 5-12 record. Yeah I realize they probably wouldn't move to Chicago, but they've certainly been one of the more mobile teams in the NFL since I've been following football

The owner of the Rams own the stadium as well. No way he is leaving LA.
