Exactly this. Herbert will need to give someone else KR duties since he will be playing a good amount of snaps at RB.

Honestly, can't even see how he could be negative about this move.

6th rounder for a guy who's a proven punt returner and has started at WR in the nfl ain't bad. They obviously can't risk losing herbert to injury at this point.

Bears need a 3rd or 4th option at WR. He think Grant will fill that role well.

I don't mind spending 6th & 7th round picks as capital to shore up the special teams.

As others pointed out, our current PR/KR haven't been anything remarkable, and with our defensive line coming on with the sacks, I bet the Bears realize field position is going to be all that much more important.

4th/5th WR that doesn't play special teams is absolutely a wasted roster spot. Especially when he doesn't contribute to the offense either.
