If the Lions are stupid enough, then yes make that deal.
A second this year and a second next year? What will it take to get Stafford? He does have some miles on himm

My brain translates this to “Should we trade draft assets for Cutler 2.0”

Nah....

The Lions aren't going to eat $32mil. That said he's got very little $ left on his deal that hasn't been amortized, meaning that he'd be very cheap for the buyer.

He has broken vertebrae in his back, I'd doubt he gets cleared anytime soon to play.

So many veteran QBs on the move this year. A historic off-season could happen.

Certainly, Ryan Pace isn't dumb enough to pass on all these opportunities, right?

no, we have seen enough of him over the years. Not a single game i have watched him did i feel he was playing at a high level. Even against some pretty bad Bears teams, I dont remember a game where he beat us even if they ended up winning.

The dude has had two straight years dealing with a broken back. Think Tony Romo!!! There is no logical reason for the Lions to trade Stafford now. If they trade him, they have will create 32 million in dead cap space.

I'm hoping to finish this series by draft day.

I think this is all a smoke screen to get dolphins to trade up but it would be very bad for us if a healthy Tua ended up in our division.

Probably but that clearly is not a given. Besides, it's the Lions.
