Bears just traded down. Looks like Poles is a trade down clown.

If they find 3 impact starters every draft it's a winner winner chicken dinner!

Bears already got their starting safety and CB opposite Johnson. Just one moar and it's an A draft boyz

As I said earlier, Poles brought in quite a few guys who were projected to be low rd picks or even UDFAs for visits. There are no issues with using 6th and 7th rd picks to make sure you get the guys you really want instead of trying to sign them as UDFAs…

Tv said before the draft that this is not a deep draft and teams will be looking to trade up as the talent falls off after the 5th. So of course Poles bites. Hope he is right.

Maybe not a sure thing... but I think a lot of the scouts from Pace's era are still there. I bet they find some good players who at least bolster the special teams.

It's definitely not bad. It's not like he turned a 2nd into a bunch of low rounds. A couple low rounders into a bunch of low rounders should help the odds of finding some that will be worth keeping.

With First-Pick, I'll trade down in the 1st, often a couple of times whe they get day 2 picks.

I'd rather have the 20th pick in the first with three second-rounders as opposed to the number 5 pick and just one second rounder.

We're building through the trenches. In the low rounds.
Lather rinse repeat.
I'd buy into it working out this time if it wasn't the same ol same ol we've been watching. (And I like Jones' beef block build so I hope he works out somewhere on the team.)

Pretty smart actually, even though I was shitting on it earlier. May have enough bodies now to fill out a roster.

Hope like hell there is some sort of plan to get OL help post draft.
