I am glad to hear they are hitting it off. That kind of off the field stuff can lead to on field confidence, and a little extra effort from both.

Do I wish he was 22, sure, but it might actually be a benefit early on.

I think there is a little too much hype, we need to remember he is a third round pick, not a top ten guy. If he works out and has an impact on ST right away and works himself into a starting role on offense, then he will be a great value.

I think the high expectations for my self is if he makes so much of an impact on offense that they take him off ST.

So why are some picked in the first round and some in the seventh? Obviously, a player's college career means something . If a player took five years to produce, there are real questions how long it will take him to adapt in the pros..

Well, he had one good year out of five in college. Nobody knows if he will also take years to adapt tp the pros, if he will succeed right away, or if he will ever cut it. He's basically an unknown factor.
